END-OF-COURSE EXAMINATION (CE)

To receive credit for your course, you must pass a CE. You have two tries, but you must pass the CE before your enrollment in the course is canceled. This applies to both mandatory and voluntary enrollees.
Here are some test-taking tips:

  • Review the E-Exam Student Guide before scheduling your test session

  • Don't forget to schedule your exam with your Test Control Facility

  • Bring your ID card with you

  • Arrive early on the day you test

  • Look for key words on the exam, such as not, except, all, first, and only

  • Don't rush; skip questions you can't answer immediately and go back to them later

  • Make sure you have marked an answer for every question

COURSE TIME FOR CDCs

If you don't pass the CE within the allotted time for your career development course (CDC), your enrollment will be canceled, and you will be restricted from re-enrolling. If you need an extension due to unusual circumstances (such as health problems, change of station, or deployment), submit a request through your on-the-job (OJT) supervisor, education services office (ESO), or AU A4/6L. The request must arrive BEFORE your enrollment is canceled.

AFRES and ANG

You must pass the CE to receive retirement point credit. The amount of credit is listed in the Preface. HQ Air Reserve Personnel Center (ARPC) is notified of the point credit when you pass the CE. If you have any questions on standards or credit awarded, refer to the CDCs, PMEs, SCs Catalog or contact ARPC.

COLLEGE CREDIT

The American Council on Education has reviewed a number of CDCs for recommended college credit. Request that your college consult the Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services and review your transcript to determine whether credit can be awarded.

RECORDS

You may request a transcript of courses you have completed from the Air University Registrar's Office.

MANDATORY /VOLUNTARY ENROLLEES

If you need assistance, contact your OJT supervisor who will work with the military personnel flight (MPF-OJT section)
to solve your problem. If you are a voluntary enrollee, contact your ESO. Contact the course authors for subject matter questions that cannot be resolved locally. Their addresses and DSN numbers are listed in the preface of each volume.
