Digital Collections

MSFRIC Digital Collections is a vision. Our goal is to fully integrate digital resources within our current framework of traditional products, projects and services. We expect to have tools in place through our integrated library systems that will provide seamless and transparent access to digital collections. As libraries evolve in the second decade of the 21st century, accessing digitized content will play as important a role in the transference of knowledge as the printed word. MSFRIC's first foray into digital collections include these collections: Maxwell Historical Dispatch (1947), Women in the Air Force, a lecture given by General Muir S. Fairchild for the staff and faculty of the Command and Staff Course and members of the Army Air Forces School Staff on March 6, 1946, Air Force Speeches, AULIMP (Air University Library Index to Military Periodicals), Chief’s Sight Pictures, General Henry H. "Hap" Arnold's letter on a successful military career, Remarks by General Charles G. Boyd, USAF (Ret.), at the May 25, 2006, AU Graduation, AU student papers and subject folders.
