Concept Title: Quantum Photon Polarization Parallel Computer Processing

Description: This is a `take-off` on a previous submission concerning the use of polarized photons to communicate a speeds in excess of the natural barrier of the speed of light. As discussed by our last lecturer on 15 Nov, there is some yet unknow mechanism which allows a beam of light to be polarized, split into two beams, and the polarization on one beam to be reversed, immediately affecting the other regardless of the distances involved. My previous concept submission (submitted well before the 15 Nov lecture) focused primarily upon the use of this phenomina to allow rapid communications. The spin on this concerns a next generation of computer using fiber optic circuits and chip technology. The use of fiber optics alone will substantially increase computing power, but the concept is that if a beam of photons can be split into a multitude of beams, the polarization shift in one computer will immediately affect its sister components in the others, allowing virtually instantaneous parallel processing among a net of next generation computers (CRAY 2000?). The computer `neural net` would function increadibly fast (greater than 7X the speed of light, according to the lecturer), allowing faster than light computation and parallel processing.

Advantages: - Speed of computing - Faster than light Parallel Processing - Huge increases in computing power - Intelligent computers - Instantaneous battle management systems - World-wide strategic synchronization of defense systems - Communication with distant travelers (space colonies, extra-terrestrials for you X-File fans) - The next revolution (4th Wave)

Countermeasures: - Out of control computer systems (independent of human interaction/programming) - Using a phenomena (Quantum, faster than light communication) without understanding how it works can lead to unknown intercept mechanisms for transmissions - Expensive in first stages; key is not to get caught up in how it works, but to use the way it works

Commercial Applications: - everything using electronic circuits to transmit data
