Unlike traditional conferences, Air Force Symposium 2008: Cyberspace will provide a forum for active debate on the role the Air Force will play in the cyberspace domain. Symposium participants will engage in seminar-style workshops for the analysis of three primary topics:

  • USAF CYBER: Supporting National Security
    • CYBER: Military and Civilian Perspectives
    • CYBER: Functional, Service or Inherently Joint
    • CYBER: DOD, DHS or Interagency (NSA, CIA, FBI)
    • CYBER: Global [US Strategic Command] and Theater [Combatant Command] Effects

As active workshop participants, members of Air Force Symposium 2008: Cyberspace will develop reports for the event co-hosts, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the Air Force in the cyberspace domain.
