WELCOME TO THE AIR WAR COLLEGE!

Congratulations on your selection to attend the Air War College as a member of the Class of 2013! Our mission is to educate senior officers to lead at the strategic level in the employment of airpower, including joint operations in support of national security. Your educational experience at Maxwell AFB and living in the Montgomery and River Region area is sure to be rewarding. The AWC program will place many demands on you, but the educational tempo is quite different from the operations tempo many of you have just experienced. I encourage you and your family to enjoy the AWC experience together and to take advantage of the predictability of an academic schedule to enjoy the attractions of the local area.
