About Air University Chief Academic Office
- Serves as the principal architect of resident and non resident (distributed learning) components of the continuum of education
- Provides oversight of curriculum integration throughout the continuum and is office of primary responsibility for continuum's strategic guidance and assessment of compliance
- Advises AU commander on review and selection of all key faculty members
- Provides overarching guidance and educational leadership to achieve high standard of excellence and innovation in educating aerospace leaders and meeting regional accreditation criteria
- Serves as the focal point for coordinating requests for changes to curricula originating outside AU
