Vision

Mission
To enhance and advocate the U.S. Air Force and air, space,
and cyberspace capabilities through traditional and
non-traditional integrated and synchronized media,
marketing and civic outreach.
About Air University Public Affairs
- Advises the AU commander and his staff, including five
general officers on media, community
relations and internal activities related to eight AU
schools and colleges, eight non-commissioned officer
academies nationwide, 144 senior and 874 junior Air Force
Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC, AFJROTC) detachments
nationwide, Civil Air Patrol-USAF, Maxwell’s 42nd
Air Base Wing, and surrounding communities of more than
300,000 people.
- Publishes a weekly newspaper, the Maxwell-Gunter
Dispatch.
- Publishes the online Air Force Officer Accession
Training Schools magazine, the Leader.
- Reviews and markets Blue Dart opinion-editorials written
by AU faculty and students.
- Coordinates base photography and graphic support.
- Conducts base tours and speaker's bureau program.
- Produces video productions for the Department of Defense and Air Force through Air University Television.
