There are two missed meals (Dining-In & Awards Banquet) for which students must pay. AMS will provide Impracticability Statements after students complete the program.
Orders should state "excess baggage weight is authorized" which allows items to accompany student rather than being shipped separately.
Orders must also include "variations in itinerary are authorized" which allows deployment for training exercises.
Though it is not mandatory, we strongly encourage students to arrive on Saturday afternoon/evening in order to complete pre-class work prior to Monday's Class Start Date
STUDENTS SHOULD NOT ARRIVE ANY EARLIER THAN SATURDAY
There are no rooms available and the dorms will not be open to them any earlier
Commercial air departures for students on graduation day must be after 1500.

Officer Candidates attending AMS are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to have sufficient funds (~ $300 - $400) while they are attending training. There are costs associated with training that the Officer Candidate will be responsible for such as uniform requirements, miscellaneous items, dry cleaning, meals, morale events, etc.
Earnings as a Second Lieutenant
