"My 3 priorities are - dont take care of people, dont balance readiness, and dont get best value!" Who would say those things? NO ONE, and everyone would quote the same platitudes.

I particularly commend Secretary James' focus on the legacy she hopes to create during her tenure. To begin with the end in mind is one mark of a very effective leader.

I entered the AF in 1975. One of the first things I learned was we "had to do more - with less". I heard this year after year. It would seem that if this directive was followed, we would now be doing everything with nothing. The sky was falling - every year. If Ms James has heard the same thing for as long as I have, she knows the sky will be there tomorrow.
